New Hairstyling Program Has Just Started!
Exciting news! A new Hairstyling Program has just kicked off at the Donato Academy. With the unprecedented success of our previous Hairstyling Program, the new batch of students is already set on their path to success!
The Donato philosophy to groom the best future hairstylists in the industry is second-to-none. At the Donato Academy, the pillars of education lay on the combination of theory, practical work and the students’ continuous involvement with fashion and beauty industry events. It is a formula of proven success that will allow students to build their personal brand in a highly competitive creative environment.
Last year saw the Donato Academy students getting involved in a myriad of events where they were able to showcase their skills and many talents. Just to name a few: the ABA trade show, open houses and charity events for women’s shelters. At every single event, the Donato Academy students displayed a high caliber creativity that garnered high praises from event organizers and attendees alike.
The Donato Hairstyling Program extends for 44 weeks and it is divided into 4 Elements. Element I focuses on hair theory, service lab 1, core hairstyling and salon operations. Element II focuses on cutting techniques, service lab 2, Academy clinic 1, core hairstyling 2 and introduction to colour. Element III focuses on advanced cutting techniques, chemical treatments (perms and relaxers), service lab 3, Academy clinic 2 and core hairstyling 3 as well as advanced colour. And Element IV focuses on practical salon. All 4 Elements run for 11 weeks each for a total of over 1500 hours.

Im currently in grade 12 graduating in june 2011 I was wondering when I should enroll to start the september 2011 program?
A friend of mine, who is a student at your academy has told me great things about your program. My friend also used me as a model for a show your students put together and I got to see first hand the quality of your teachers and the exciting environment at the school. I have always wanted to be a hairstylist and now i know where to go when i finish highschool.
